I was perusing my favorite japanese clothing website tonight, cursing myself for not being able to read the descriptions even though I ran it thru google. I basically want everything. Absolutely lovely. I can spend hours just clicking around. Here are some of my favorites right now...
I've been quietly stalking this book at anthropologie for the past month & finally yesterday decided I had to have it. It seems they are the only place that carries it right now. So click here to order it from their site. It's going for a ridiculous amount on amazon.com.
With that said its insanely beautiful. Filled with to much inspiration & ideas to even begin to write about. So I'm posting a few of my favorite pics to share.
Sibella also has a website so please check that out too.
I received the other day this amazing catalog from Gudrun Sjoden. The size of the catalog is the first thing I love, it's about 12 inches wide by about a good 18 inches long. Beautiful paper pages filled with gorgeous colors & layouts. My favorite part though is towards the back to order are lovely illustrations & small write ups of the products. Check out their website also for more eye candy. It's so nice that so many overseas companies will spend the extra to send catalogs to the US.
I received the new January issue of Fudge last week & thought i'd post a few images to share. You can get a subscription thru Fujisan which is well worth it. The cost & shipping is really reasonable. This issue had tons of street style which can be a bit repetitious at times but the styling of the editorial spreads are inspiring. All the layering is brillant. Going to Tokyo to shop is number one on my bucket list.
So I decided to buy myself for xmas a masking tape idea book from uguisu. The book is fantastic & is filled with so many ideas that i'm in overload with what I should be making in the new year. If there is one thing I love more than anything it's books & magazines from Japan. So this is one of many posts that I will be making. I also can not say enough good things about Kiki & her shop. The book arrived so quickly & beautifully wrapped. I was beyond thrilled.
